Zusammenfassung:
Sein ganzes junges Leben hat Joshua auf dem Gelände des Compound verbracht - mal abgesehen von ein paar Abstechern zur Schule, bevor man ihm auch das verboten hat. Und fast eben so lange schon träumt er von seinem besten Freund Caleb. Und zwar auf höchst unfreundschaftliche Weise. Nein, Josh ist in Caleb verliebt - ein Unding unter den Anhängern des Compound. Und unmöglich, wie Josh glaubt. Doch dann wird er eines Tages rausgeworfen und Caleb folgt ihm, sodass die Karten sehr schnell neu gemischt werden und mit einem Mal alles möglich scheint ...
Fazit:
Nachdem ich die Him-Reihe, die ja von Sarina Bowen mit geschrieben wurde, buchstäblich inhaliert habe, war ich natürlich auf der Suche nach weiteren Büchern von der Dame. So bin ich dann auf dieses Buch hier gestoßen. Und ich muss sagen - ja, es hat mir gefallen. Nur Josh ging mir hin und wieder etwas auf den Keks mit seiner Sichtweise. So komme ich dann alles in allem auch zur folgenden Wertung dieses kleinen Schmuckstücks ...
