But, just because there are zombies, doesn't mean your other problems
go away. If the zombies don't eat their brains, they might just kill
each other.
Zusammenfassung:
Es liegt schon einige Zeit zurück, da Sarah und David recht nachvollziehen konnten, warum sie einander nun eigentlich geheiratet haben. Aus diesem Grund gehen sie ja auch jede Woche zur Paartherapie. Als sie jedoch bei einer ihrer Sitzungen ihre sonst so gesittete Therapeutin dabei erwischen, wie sie gerade das Paar verspeist, das vor ihnen einen Termin hatte, und die dann auch noch auf Sarah und David losgeht, steht fest, dass da etwas faul ist. Und tätsächlich. Eher als ihnen lieb ist, müssen die beiden feststellen, dass sie sich mitten in einer Zombie-Apokalypse befinden und dass die Unstimmigkeit in ihrer Ehe derzeit das geringste ihrer Probleme ist ...
Fazit:
Gefunden habe ich dieses Buch gewissermaßen bei GoodReads, wo es mir aufgrund meiner bisherigen Lektüre vorgeschlagen wurde. Und das Buch klang auch richtig schön unterhaltsam. Das war es dann auch. Und auch wieder so gar nicht. Der Humor blieb meiner Meinung nach fast völlig auf der Strecke, die Protagonisten und die Geschichte selbst sind so vorhersehbar, dass es fast wehtut - und überhaupt. Für mich leider eine meiner Enttäuschungen des Jahres.
